Concluding Part... Consequence of Child Abuse

What will happen to me then?
How will I sell my drinks?
Who will buy my drinks?... She began to question Herself
Oh Gosh!... What will I do now.. She kept thinking all the way home, few meters away from home an idea popped up in her mind.
Yes! I will just go and check for other sites and then i will sell the drinks to the labourers there... She said to herself.
The next day her stepmother added more drinks to the bowl as usual.
Immediately after selling at her usual site, she went in search of other sites.
She found 3 other sites,She informed the labourers there that she would be bringing drinks for them to buy... They agreed and thanked her for relieving them of the stress of going to get it themselves... She was extremely happy and she immediately left for home..She started selling drinks to her newly found customers...
This went on for about 2 months... One day after selling at one of the sites, As she was about leaving... One of the labourers said to another..."omo this girl set gan o".. "Idiot na small girl o she just get big stature" d other one replied,That one no mean jare, so far she get front and back... He said,  Na true sha...The other one replied..
The next day, she went to the same site to sell drinks... One of the labourers approached her and said.. Our engineer wants to see you, he's inside the building...
As a little girl.. She didn't see anything wrong in what he said.. And didn't suspect anything.... When she got into the building she saw about 5 of the labourers standing in front of her.. Where is the engineer she asked.. They didn't respond .
She began to suspect that something was wrong.. She tried to run out but there was an obstacle ,the labourer that told her that the engineer was calling her was right behind her.
She got gang raped by 5 men... She just got a year older a week before this tragic incident.
She was traumatized..
She began to suffer from depression.
She didn't have anyone to talk to
She stopped schooling, Cause she started to feel inferior
She wasn't useful to herself and the society at all....
This caused her to act like an imbecile.. As the Abuse really affected her.
This is how much damage child Abuse caused this little girl!
This is how much damage Rape caused this girl!
This is how much damage maltreatment  caused this 11year Old!
She had no one to stand up for her!
She had a father and someone who was meant to be a mother figure...
But they never treated her like she deserved to have them as parents!
All they did was watch her life get ruined!
To all fathers that are in a second marriage and have children from their first marriage...
Please do not deprive your children of your attention!
Do not be blinded by the love for your second wife!
She could have been one of the best in her time and age!
But child Abuse destroyed that when she was as young as 11yrs!
Stand up against Child Abuse today!
Stop Child Abuse !
Child Abuse is unacceptable!
Let's eradicate child Abuse!
Thank you!

Strong Bond

Strong Bond Sometimes reaching out to take someone's hand Is the beginning of a journey At other times, allowing others to take yours Is the beginning of a journey Love for one another, our priority But let's not make a bond of love Let it Rather be a moving sea between the shores of our souls A strong bond A bond that can never be broken One that lasts forever A bond between souls is ancient One between souls is older than the planets Words might be pretexts Not even death can violate A STRONG BOND                                                         Ibironke

Hurdles Of Becoming An Undergraduate

Leaving secondary school with the mindset of getting into a tertiary institution almost immediately.... Not having an idea of the series of barrier one has to jump over in this race called life... Eniola applied for UTME immediately after her WAEC She had 198 afterwards... She didn't know if the result was good or bad as she was really naive and didn't know much about universities and their requirements. She applied to study pharmacy at the university of ilorin that year... She wasn't granted admission... Probably because she didn't pass their cutoff mark... She didn't really feel bad about this because she was naive and didn't understand what staying at home could do to her... The next year she applied for UTME again This time she already understood what life outside secondary was all about and she read like she was never gonna read again.. She prepared really hard for her UTME... And to her surprise her determination to come out in flying colours was ...
