Hurdles Of Becoming An Undergraduate

Leaving secondary school with the mindset of getting into a tertiary institution almost immediately....
Not having an idea of the series of barrier one has to jump over in this race called life...
Eniola applied for UTME immediately after her WAEC
She had 198 afterwards... She didn't know if the result was good or bad as she was really naive and didn't know much about universities and their requirements.
She applied to study pharmacy at the university of ilorin that year...
She wasn't granted admission... Probably because she didn't pass their cutoff mark... She didn't really feel bad about this because she was naive and didn't understand what staying at home could do to her...
The next year she applied for UTME again
This time she already understood what life outside secondary was all about and she read like she was never gonna read again..
She prepared really hard for her UTME...
And to her surprise her determination to come out in flying colours was not in vain
As she passed her jamb exams with a score of 249..She was extremely happy and decided to also pass her POST UTME with beautiful grades..
She applied for law again but this time to the University of Lagos and also applied to sit for the post UTME of Olabisi Onabanjo university...
She sat for this exams and passed so well that she even passed the cutoff marks... She was so happy with herself and was very confident that she would be granted admission into at least one of the university.
To her surprise she wasn't granted admission to any of the universities. She felt really bad and decided to take a pre-degree program for Pharmacy in Olabisi Onabanjo University...
Don't worry, Just read and let your name be among the First 20 students....The officials of the predegree program said to her.
She read, attended all lectures and passed well... She was no 7 on the list and was rest assured that her admission was secured... To her surprise she wasn't admitted for pharmacy but crop production
She felt really bad.. And was so confused on what to do
This was her 3rd UTME and 2nd year at home...
She decided not to take the course and sit for another JAMB EXAM.
Crop production is also a Good Course... It's better to do it than stay at home...People Said To her.
But she stood her ground that she wasn't gonna change her Course.
She decided to learn a trade, she sat for her exam passed well and was admitted into the University for her prefered course!
Therefore, Determination is the key to Success!

Strong Bond

Strong Bond Sometimes reaching out to take someone's hand Is the beginning of a journey At other times, allowing others to take yours Is the beginning of a journey Love for one another, our priority But let's not make a bond of love Let it Rather be a moving sea between the shores of our souls A strong bond A bond that can never be broken One that lasts forever A bond between souls is ancient One between souls is older than the planets Words might be pretexts Not even death can violate A STRONG BOND                                                         Ibironke
